What is the grant program?

Warpcast is giving $50k to people building user-facing apps, dev tools or libraries on Farcaster.

Who is eligible?

Any project building for Farcaster users or developers is eligible as long as they haven’t raised money via venture capital or token launch. The main criteria used to judge are:

1. Usage — do people use what you have built?
2. Duration — how long have people been using this?
3. Value — how important is this project for Farcaster’s long term success?
4. Open Source — are you helping grow the ecosystem by making your code open source?

The criteria are stack ranked by importance. Usage will drive 90% of the decision, and the other criteria are tiebreakers. Final decisions made by Dan & Varun. We will target giving $50k to ~10 projects and may increase the amount if a lot of great projects with users apply.
