By default, all users signing up for Farcaster receive a free fname. Fnames are a managed namespace and are subject to these rules.
For users looking for a more decentralized and user-controlled option, Farcaster supports ENS names. You can learn more about ENS here.
In order to use your ENS name on Farcaster, it must be in a connected address and the ENS record should set to to the connected address (this is the default behavior). You can check on this page on the ENS website to see what record is set for an ENS name.
Username changes are limited to once a week.
