You’ll be responsible for decentralizing and scaling Farcaster, which includes the public social network and private messaging protocol.

The main project ahead of you is shipping Snapchain, a blockchain-like network which stores social data. It’s a novel distributed system that modifies traditional blockchain consensus to work for a high-volume social network that demands 100x — 1000x greater throughput.

There are also additional projects on the horizon that include building a decentralized direct messaging protocol, continuing to scale Snapchain by researching new ways to build high performance, byzantine-tolerant systems.
